- Verify a test lamp illuminates between low reference circuit terminal 3 and B+
- If the test lamp does not illuminate
- Test circuit 5214 for an open/high resistance.
- If an open/high resistance is found, repair the fault on circuit 5214.
- Go to next step: If an open/high resistance is not found
- Replace the K182 Parking Assist Control Module
- Go to next step: If the test lamp illuminates
- Ignition ON.
- Verify a test lamp illuminates between voltage reference circuit terminal 1 and ground.
- If a test lamp does not illuminate
- Test circuit 6581 for a short to ground.
- If a short to ground is found, repair the fault on circuit 6581.
- Go to next step: If a short to ground is not found
- Test circuit 6581 for an open/high resistance
- If an open/high resistance is found, repair the fault on circuit 6581.
- Go to next step: If an open/high resistance is not found
- Replace the K182 Parking Assist Control Module
- Go to next step: If a test lamp illuminates
- Test for 3.5 - 12.0 V between signal circuit terminal 2 and ground.
- If less than 3.5 V
- Test the appropriate circuit for a short to ground:
- DTC B19BB = Circuit 5215
- DTC B19BC = Circuit 5216
- DTC B19BD = Circuit 5217
- DTC B19BE = Circuit 5218
- If a short to ground is found, repair the fault on the circuit.
- Go to next step: If a short to ground is not found
- Test the appropriate circuit for an open/high resistance:
- DTC B19BB = Circuit 5215
- DTC B19BC = Circuit 5216
- DTC B19BD = Circuit 5217
- DTC B19BE = Circuit 5218
- If an open/high resistance is found, repair the fault on the circuit.
- Go to next step: If an open/high resistance is not found
- Replace the K182 Parking Assist Control Module
- If greater than 12.0 V
- Test the appropriate circuit for a short to voltage:
- DTC B19BB = Circuit 5215
- DTC B19BC = Circuit 5216
- DTC B19BD = Circuit 5217
- DTC B19BE = Circuit 5218
- If a short to voltage is found, repair the fault on the circuit.
- Go to next step: If a short to voltage is not found
- Replace the K182 Parking Assist Control Module
- Go to next step: If between 3.5 - 12.0 V
- Replace the appropriate B306 Parking Assist Alarm Sensor.
