Opening the Fuel Tank Filler Door when the Door Lock Malfunctions

- Rear Wheelhouse Liner Panel - Remove - Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
- Reach in behind the fuel filler pipe housing and manually apply 12 volts to the actuator to open.
- If manual opening is needed, use the appropriate tool between the door and rear outer quarter panel and apply outward force to open.
- Rear Wheelhouse Liner Panel - Install - Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
NOTE:
Manual opening of the fuel door may cause damage to the door or housing and will need to be replaced.
