Component Testing

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2022 Cadillac CT4. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off
  2. Disconnect the appropriate electrical connector: M129 Intake Camshaft Profile Actuator or M130 Exhaust Camshaft Profile Actuator
  3. Test for 3 to 5 ohms between the test points: Control terminal 1/6 & Ignition terminal 5
    • If not between 3 and 5 ohms 

      Replace the component: M129 Intake Camshaft Profile Actuator or M130 Exhaust Camshaft Profile Actuator

    • Go to next step: If between 3 and 5 ohms 
  4. All OK.
