- If an excessive parasitic draw is present the auto stop/start system may be inoperative and a prevent a successful Battery Sensor learn from being performed.
- Devices causing additional battery loads when the vehicle is off may reduce the state of charge, and may disable the stop/start system. Refer to Checking Aftermarket Accessories
- Short trips that prevent the battery to fully charge, or the fluids to reach full operating temperature and may disable the stop/start system.
