Circuit/System Verification

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2022 Cadillac CT4. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
    NOTE:

If the concern is still present after following the steps for Diagnostics in any of the Proactive Alert Identifiers, contact GM TAC for further assistance. The GM TAC Agent will arrange for the stuck Proactive Alert to be cleared from OnStar Back Office.

  1. Verify the battery cable connections are clean and tight and verify battery voltage is between 12.0 - 15.0 V measured at the battery terminals.
    • Go to next step: If within the specified range
  2. Verify the customer has the Proactive Alert SAC004 from OnStar, or by using the Scan Tool "Vehicle Diagnostics" - "Vehicle Proactive Alerts", or Service Workbench Alerts.
    • If Proactive Alert SAC004 is present.

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • Go to next step: If Proactive Alert SAC004 is not present.
  3. All OK.
