Removal Procedure

Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (L3B Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (L3B GE 47716)
Radiator Air Front Lower Baffle Retainer (1) - Remove [3x]
Radiator Air Front Lower Baffle (1) - Remove
Radiator Air Lower Seal Retainer (1) - Remove [6x]
Radiator Air Lower Baffle (2) - Remove
Radiator Air Seal Retainer- Left Side (1) - Remove [2x]
Radiator Air Seal Retainer- Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]
Lower the vehicle.
Radiator Air Upper Baffle Retainer (1) - Remove [7x]
Radiator Air Upper Baffle (2) - Remove
Wiring Harness Retainer (1) - Remove
Radiator Upper Bracket Bolt (3) - Remove [4x]
Radiator Upper Bracket (2) - Remove [2x]
Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Clip Bolt (1) - Remove
Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Bracket (2) - Reposition
Engine Coolant Fan Electrical Connector (3) @ Forward Lamp Wiring Harness (4) - Disconnect
Air Cleaner Bolt (1) - Remove
Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Tube (2) - Disconnect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube (3) - Disconnect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
Electrical Connector (4) - Disconnect [2x]
Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (1) - Loosen
Wiring Harness Retainer (2) @ Air Cleaner Assembly - Remove [4x]
Engine Wiring Harness (3) - Reposition
Remove the air cleaner (1) and air cleaner outlet duct (2) as an assembly.
Air Conditioning Condenser Tube Clip (1) @ Engine Cooler Fan - Remove
Auxiliary Radiator Outlet Pipe Clip (2) - Remove [2x]
Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Pipe (3) - Reposition away
Auxiliary Radiator Outlet Pipe Clip (1) @ Engine Cooler Fan (2) - Remove
Engine Coolant Fan Bolt (2) - Remove [4x]
Engine Cooler Fan (3) @ Engine Radiator (1) - Remove
Wiring Harness Retainer (1) @ Radiator Air Side Baffle - Left Side - Remove
Radiator Air Seal Retainer (2) - Remove [2x]
Remove the left radiator air side baffle (1) by manipulating from between the vehicle components.
Radiator Air Seal Retainer (2) - Remove [2x]
Remove the right radiator air side baffle (1) by manipulating from between the vehicle components.
Radiator Inlet Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Hose (2) @ Engine Radiator - Remove
Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose (2) @ Engine Radiator - Remove
Radiator Inlet Hose Clamp (4) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
Radiator Inlet Hose (3) @ Engine Radiator - Remove
Radiator Outlet Hose Clamp @ Engine Radiator (1) - Disengage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
Radiator Outlet Hose (4) @ Engine Radiator - Remove
Air Conditioning Condenser Tube Bolt (1) - Remove
Air Conditioning Condenser Bolt (2) - Remove
Lift upward on the air conditioning condenser (1) releasing it from the air conditioning condenser brackets.
Without evacuating the system or disconnecting the air conditioning compressor and condenser hose, reposition the air condition condenser (1) forward.
Charge Air Cooler Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
Without disconnecting the charge air inlet and outlet cooler tubes, lift up on the charge air cooler (2) and reposition.
Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove
Without disconnecting the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe, remove the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler (2) from the 2 air conditioning condenser brackets and reposition forward.
Engine Coolant Temperature Indicator Switch Connector (1) @ Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (2) - Disconnect
Engine Radiator (1) - Remove
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Retainer (1) - Remove
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (2) - Remove
Radiator Lower Insulator (3) - Remove [2x]
Air Conditioning Condenser Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
Air Conditioning Condenser Bracket (2) @ Engine Radiator (3) - Remove [2x]
