Removal Procedure

  1. GM5839403

    Remove the front bumper fascia. Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (without Blackwing) , or Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (with Blackwing) , or Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (with Blackwing CFV, CFZ)

  2. GM5422172

    Mark the location of the hood primary and secondary latch (1) with a grease pencil.

  3. Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
  4. GM5422176

    Hood Primary and Secondary Latch (1) - Reposition away

  5. GM5864796

    Radiator Air Upper Baffle Retainer (1) - Remove [4x]

  6. GM5864800

    Radiator Air Side Baffle Retainer (1) - Remove [2x]

  7. GM5864804

    Radiator Air Front Upper Baffle (1) - Remove
