Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 GE 47716)
  2. GM5908750

    Disengage the two auxiliary generator battery jumper cable retainers (1).

  3. GM5550608

    Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect

  4. GM5123909

    Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Retainer (1) - Remove

  5. Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (2) - Remove
