Installation Procedure

  1. GM5123909

    Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (2) - Install

  2. Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Retainer (1) - Install
  3. GM5550608

    Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Electrical Connector (1) - Connect

  4. GM5908750

    Engage the two auxiliary generator battery jumper cable retainers (1).

  5. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 GE 47716)
  6. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
