Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front bumper fascia. Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (without Blackwing) , or Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (with Blackwing) , or Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (with Blackwing CFV, CFZ)
  2. GM5481342

    Auxiliary Radiator Duct Retainer (1) - Remove [3x]

  3. GM5481344

    Auxiliary Radiator Duct Retainer (1) - Remove [2x]

  4. GM5410889
    NOTE:

    The front bumper fascia support brace (2) may have a forward range radar sensor attached, if equipped.

    Front Bumper Fascia Support Brace Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]

  5. Front Bumper Fascia Support Brace (2) - Remove
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the forward range radar sensor, if equipped.

    Intake Air Duct Retainer (1) - Remove [2x]

  8. Radiator Air Lower Seal Retainer (2) - Remove [2x]
  9. Radiator Air Lower Baffle Retainer (3) - Remove [2x]
  10. GM5422202

    Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

  11. Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace (2) - Remove [2x]
  12. GM5485943

    Horn Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  13. Horn (2) - Reposition [2x]
  14. GM5412380

    Reposition the wiring harness.

  15. Front Bumper Impact Bar Bolt (1) - Remove [8x]
  16. Front Bumper Impact Bar (2) - Remove
  17. GM5481345

    Auxiliary Radiator Front Duct (1) - Remove
