Installation Procedure

    Some components not shown for graphic clarity.

  2. GM5854948

    Install the NEW positive crank ventilation foul air tube (2) and secure the 2 positive crankcase ventilation tube connectors (1).

  3. GM5854972

    Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator Vacuum Source Tube (2) - Install

  4. Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator Vacuum Source Tube (2) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
  5. Clamp (1) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  6. GM5845622

    Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Tank Tube (2) - Install

  7. Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Tank Tube (2) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
  8. Clamp (1) - Engage [2x] - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  9. GM5839283

    Oil Filler Cap - Remove

  10. Intake Manifold Cover (2) - Install
    11. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  11. Intake Manifold Cover Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  12. Oil Filler Cap - Install
