Installation Procedure

    EN-51007  Global Engine Support Fixture (1) - Remove

    EN-36857  Engine Lift Bracket Set (1) - Remove

    Radiator Air Upper Baffle (2) - Install

  7. Radiator Air Upper Baffle Retainer (1) - Install [7x]

    Radiator Air Upper Baffle- Upper (3) - Install

    9. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  9. Radiator Air Upper Baffle Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  10. Radiator Air Upper Baffle Retainer (1) - Install [5x]

    With the aid of an assistant, install the hood (2).

  12. Hood Hinge Nut (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Install the plenum front panel (3) to the dash panel upper insulator (2).

    14. NOTE:

    This is a push nut.

  14. Plenum Panel Nut (1) - Install [9x]

    Plenum Front Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

  17. Plenum Front Panel Nut (2) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Plenum Front Panel Nut (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

  19. Plenum Front Panel Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
  20. Install the forward lamp wiring harness extension (3) into the plenum front panel.
  21. Connect the electrical connector.

    Air Inlet Deflector Water Deflector (1) - Install

    Air Inlet Deflector Water Deflector Retainer (1) - Install [2x]

    Windshield Wiper System Module (2) - Install

  25. Windshield Wiper System Module Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  26. Connect the windshield wiper motor electrical connector.
  27. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

    Windshield Wiper System Module Shield (1) - Install

    Air Inlet Grille Panel (2) - Install

  30. Connect the windshield washer nozzle hose to the windshield washer pump hose.
  31. Air Inlet Grille Panel Retainer (1) - Install- Left Side and Right Side [6x]

    Front Compartment Side Sight Shield- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install [2x]

    Air Inlet Grille Panel Extension- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install [2x]

    Hood Rear Outer Air Inlet Seal- Left Side and Right Side (2) Install [2x]

    Air Inlet Grille Panel Extension- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

  39. Remove the masking tape from the top edge of the service part.
  40. Using a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and clean drinkable water with a clean towel, remove any left over adhesive residue from the masking tape.

    Clean the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft splines with a soft wire brush before installing the windshield wiper arm (3).

  42. Windshield Wiper Arm- Left Side and Right Side (3) - Install [2x]
  43. Windshield Wiper Arm Nut- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  44. Windshield Wiper Arm Finish Cap- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

    If required, realign the windshield wipers to their respective alignment circles (1) on the windshield.

  46. Lubricate the windshield with clean washer fluid.
  47. Run the windshield wipers for two complete cycles then turn off the windshield wipers.
  48. Ensure the windshield wipers are in the full park position.
  49. Inspect the windshield wipers for proper position to the alignment circles (1) on the windshield.

    Air Cleaner Outlet Duct (1) - Install

    Retainer Spring (4) - Engage

  52. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (3) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
  53. Charge Air Bypass Valve Hose (2) - Install
  54. Charge Air Bypass Valve Hose Clamp (1) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator Vacuum Source Tube (2) - Install

  56. Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator Vacuum Source Tube (2) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
  57. Clamp (1) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

    Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Tank Tube (2) - Install

  59. Charge Air Bypass Valve Vacuum Tank Tube (2) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
  60. Clamp (1) - Engage [2x] - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

    Oil Filler Cap - Remove

  62. Intake Manifold Cover (2) - Install
  63. Intake Manifold Cover Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  64. Oil Filler Cap - Install
