1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
2. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.

   Oil Filter (3) - Remove and DISCARD

   CAUTION:

   Special new tool EN 47971 must be used. Due to the special size and thread pitch of the oil filter adapter fitting ensure the proper tool is used or component damage will result.

   Install the EN-47971  Oil Pressure Gauge Adapter (1) and CH-48027  Pressure Gauge.

5. Run the engine and measure the engine oil pressure.
6. Compare the readings to Engine Mechanical Specifications .
7. Remove the EN-47971  Oil Pressure Gauge Adapter (1) and CH-48027  Pressure Gauge.

   Lubricate the NEW oil filter gasket with clean engine oil.

CAUTION:

This engine uses a special high performance oil filter. Use of any other filter may lead to filter failure and/or severe engine damage.

9. Oil Filter (3) - Install NEW and tighten - Fastener Specifications
10. Remove the drain pan.
11. Lower the vehicle.
12. Fill the engine oil to the proper level with NEW engine oil.

13. Start the engine and inspect for leaks.
