- Perform the following steps:
- Set the parking brake.
- Block the drive wheels.
- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify there are no DTCs set related to the following component/system: B25B Clutch Pedal Position Sensor
- If a related DTC is set
- Go to next step: If a related DTC is not set
- Select: Module Diagnostics
- Select: Engine Control Module
- Select: Configuration/Reset Functions
- Select: Learn Functions
- Select: Clutch Pedal Position Learn
- Select: Learn
- Depress - Clutch Pedal - Fully Applied
- Release - Clutch Pedal
Verify the scan tool parameter: Clutch Pedal Position Learn Status = Complete/Learned
- If the procedure was not successful
Perform the following action:
- Clutch Pedal Position Learn Status = Unsuccessful - Sensor Detected Movement - Repeat step 1
- Clutch Pedal Position Learn Status = Unsuccessful - Sensor Low Voltage or Unsuccessful; - Sensor High Voltage - Refer to: DTC P08A8-P08AA
- Clutch Pedal Position Learn Status = Not Learned - Refer to: DTC P08A8-P08AA
- Go to next step: If the procedure was successful
- If the procedure was not successful
- All OK.
