1st and 2nd and 3rd and 4th Shift Shaft Assembly

   Install the selector control lever (2) on the 1st and 2nd and 3rd and 4th shift shaft (4).

2. Align the selector control lever roll pin hole on the selector control lever (2) with the roll pin hole on the 1st and 2nd and 3rd and 4th shift shaft (4).
3. Install the reverse shift block interlock pin (3) through the selector control lever (2) and the 1st and 2nd and 3rd and 4th shift shaft (4).
4. Use the DT-36850  Transjel Lubricant to hold the reverse shift block interlock pin in place.
5. Install the shift interlock plate (1) on the selector control lever (2). The shift interlock plate (1) fits loosely on the selector control lever (2).

   Install the 1st and 2nd shift fork (1) on the 1st and 2nd and 3rd and 4th shift shaft (2).

7. Align the notch on the shift link of shift fork (1) with the shift interlock plate.
8. Install the 3rd and 4th shift fork (3) on the 1st and 2nd and 3rd and 4th shift shaft (2).

   Install the 3rd and 4th shift shaft link (3) beneath the 1st and 2nd shift shaft link (1) on the shift interlock plate (2) and the selector roll pin assembly.

5th and 6th and Reverse Shift Shaft Assembly

   Using the J-39437  Bushing Installer (4) and a hammer, install the shift shaft bushings (1, 3) in the 5th and 6th shift lever (2).

   Install the shift lever retaining ring (3) on the 5th and 6th shift lever (2).

3. Install the 5th and 6th shift lever (2) on the 5th and 6th and reverse shift shaft (1).

   Install the reverse shift lever (2) on the 5th and 6th and reverse shift shaft (1).

5. Install the reverse shift lever pin (3) through the reverse shift lever (2) to the 5th and 6th and reverse shift shaft (1).

   Install the 5th and 6th shift fork (6) to the 5th and 6th and reverse shift shaft (7).

7. Install the 5th and 6th gear synchronizer hub retaining ring (5) to the 5th and 6th and reverse shift shaft (7).
8. Install the manual transmission shift shaft collar (3) to the 5th and 6th and reverse shift shaft (7).
9. Install the 1st and 2nd shift fork pin (4) through the manual transmission shift shaft collar (3) to the 5th and 6th and reverse shift shaft (7).
10. Install the reverse shift fork (2) to the 5th and 6th and reverse shift shaft (7).
11. Install the reverse shift fork retaining ring (1) to the 5th and 6th and reverse shift shaft (7).
