Removal Procedure

    Front Seat (2) - Remove - Front Seat Removal and Installation (Blackwing)

    Front Seat Cushion Front Finish Cover Bolt (1) - Remove

  3. Front Seat Cushion Outer Finish Cover Bolt -Front (2) - Remove
  4. Front Seat Cushion Front Finish Cover (3) - Remove

    Front Seat Cushion Outer Finish Cover Bolt -Rear (1) - Remove

  6. Squeeze the retainer to release.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector.

    Front Seat Adjuster Finish Cover Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  10. Front Seat Inner Adjuster Front Finish Cover (2) - Remove

    Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining tab.

  12. Front Seat Back Upper Cover (1) - Remove [2x]

    NOTE:

    It may take considerable force to remove the front seat head restraint.

    Grasping the top of the front seat head restraint (1), pull forward and down to release the retaining tab from the front seat back finish panel.

  14. Front Seat Head Restraint (1) - Remove

    Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining tabs.

    Front Seat Back Finish Panel Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

  18. Release the upper front seat back finish panel tabs from the front seat head restraint frame.
  19. Release the upper front seat back cover J-channel retainers and reposition the upper front seat back cover as necessary to access the spring clip retainers.
  20. Use an appropriate tool to release the spring clip retainers.

    Front Seat Back Rear Lower Cover Retainer (1) - Remove [2x]

  23. Release the front seat back rear lower cover bottom bungee clips from the cushion pan.
  24. Front Seat Back Rear Lower Cover (2) - Remove

    Use a flat-bladed tool to push upward on the front seat recliner hub tab while gently tapping the recliner rod outward until the rod is free of the recliner motor.

  26. Driver or Passenger Seat Recliner Actuator Rod (1) - Remove
  27. Driver or Passenger Seat Recliner Actuator Bolt (2) - Remove
  28. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  29. Driver or Passenger Seat Recliner Actuator (3) - Remove
