Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition/Vehicle OFF, disconnect the X3 connector at the K40P Passenger Seat Adjuster Memory Module.
  2. Test for less than infinite resistance between circuit terminal 22 and circuit terminal 23.
    • If infinite resistance 

      Repair the open/high resistance in circuit 2452

    • Go to next step: If less than infinite resistance 
  3. Test for infinite resistance between circuit terminal 22 and ground.
    • If less than infinite resistance 

      Repair the short to ground on circuit 2452.

    • Go to next step: If infinite resistance 
  4. Ignition ON/Vehicle in Service Mode.
  5. Test for less than 1 V between circuit terminal 22 and ground.
    • If 1 V or greater 

      Repair the short to voltage on circuit 2452.

    • Go to next step: If less than 1 V 
  6. Replace the appropriate K40P Passenger Seat Adjuster Memory Module.
