Installation Procedure

    Automatic Transmission Control (1) - Install

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Automatic Transmission Control Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

  3. Automatic Transmission Control Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Engage the threads of the automatic transmission range selector lever cable bolt (1) into the transmission control and tighten. Fastener Specifications

  5. Install and tighten the automatic transmission range selector lever cable to automatic transmission control bolt (2). Fastener Specifications

    Front Floor Console Trim Plate (1) - Install

    Front Floor Console Trim Plate Bolt (4) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  8. Connect the electrical connector (3).
  9. Insert the transmission control lever boot and knob (2) into the front floor console trim plate.
  10. Front Floor Console Variable 1 Liner (1) - Install

    Install the automatic transmission control lever knob (1) then press down to engage the retainer.

  12. Carefully pull upward on the automatic transmission control lever knob (1) to ensure that the retainer is engaged.

    Position the automatic transmission control lever knob boot (1) into the front floor console trim plate (2) and press down in the area of the arrows to install the automatic transmission control lever knob boot.

  14. Shift the transmission through each gear and ensure that the shift lever knob operates properly.

    Slide the front floor console (1) back into the instrument panel.

    Front Floor Console Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications

  17. Front Floor Console Bracket Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Right Side (1) - Install

  19. Return the seat to its original position.

    Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Left Side (1) - Install

  21. Return the seat to its original position.
