Removal Procedure
Rear Bumper Fascia (1) - Remove - Rear Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation
- Reposition the wiring harness.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the low frequency rear bumper antenna.
- Disconnect the rear parking sensor electrical connector
Rear Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Clip (1) - Remove [4x]
- Rear Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
- Rear Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber (3) - Remove
- CAUTION:
Refer to Eye Protection Warning .
Drill out the 2 exhaust tail pipe heat sleeve rivets on the left and right side of the rear bumper fascia (1).
- Rear Bumper Fascia Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
- Exhaust Tail Pipe Heat Sleeve (3) - Remove
Remove the 3 left and right side rear fascia signal lamp bolts (1).
- Remove the 2 rear fascia signal lamps from the left and right side (2).
Remove the 2 short range radar sensor bolts (1) from the left and right side.
- Short Range Radar Sensor (2) - Remove [2x]
Remove the side object sensing alert module bolts (1) from the right and left side.
- Side Object Sensing Alert Module (2) - Remove [2x]
Lift the locking tabs on the housing and remove the 4 parking assist alarm sensor (1).
Rear Bumper Fascia Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Release the retainer tabs on the rear bumper upper fascia (2) and remove from the lower fascis.
