Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
- NOTE:

Front Tire Front Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
- Front Tire Front Air Deflector (2) - Remove
Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
- Front Bumper Fascia Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
- NOTE:
- Quantity of fasteners may vary based on option content.
- Components removed for graphic clarity.
- Engine Front Splash Shield Bolt (1) - Remove [5x]
- Engine Front Splash Shield Retainer (2) - Remove [4x]
- Engine Front Splash Shield (3) - Remove
- NOTE:

Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) - Remove [7x]
- Front Wheelhouse Liner Retainer (2) - Remove [4x]
- Front Wheelhouse Liner (3) - Remove
Remove the left side upper front bumper fascia bolt (2).
Remove the right side upper front bumper fascia bolt (2).
Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Screw (1) - Remove [3x]
Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Screw (1) - Remove [6x]
- Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Bolt (2) - Remove [5x]
- Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Retainer (3) - Remove [2x]
Front Bumper Fascia Bolt (1) - Remove [6x]
On the left side of the front bumper fascia carefully push a small nylon wedge between the front bumper fascia (1), the front bumper fascia guide (2), and the front headlamp (3). Insert a suitable flat-bladed plastic trim tool into the fascia slot and depress the snaps one at a time and pull on the fascia at the same time to gradually remove the left side of the front bumper fascia.
Reposition the front bumper fascia on the right side to gain access to the electrical connector (1).
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
On the left side of the front bumper fascia carefully push a small nylon wedge between the front bumper fascia (1), the front bumper fascia guide (2), and the front headlamp (3). Insert a suitable flat-bladed plastic trim tool into the fascia slot and depress the snaps one at a time and pull on the fascia at the same time to gradually remove the left side of the front bumper fascia.
With the aid of an assistant, remove the fascia (1) -
Front Bumper Fascia Support Brace Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
- Forward Range Radar Bracket (2) - Remove
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace (2) - Remove
Horn Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Horn (2) - Reposition [2x]
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Reposition the wiring harness.
- Front Bumper Impact Bar Bolt (1) - Remove [8x]
- Front Bumper Impact Bar (2) - Remove
Auxiliary Radiator Duct Retainer (1) - Remove [3x]
Auxiliary Radiator Rear Duct (1) - Remove
Auxiliary Radiator Duct Retainer (1) - Remove [3x]
Auxiliary Radiator Duct Retainer (1) - Remove [2x]
Auxiliary Radiator Front Duct (1) - Remove
Charge Air Cooler Upper Bracket Nut (1) - Loosen
- Charge Air Cooler Bracket Bolt (2) - Remove [3x]
Reposition the engine auxiliary radiator assembly (1).
Battery Negative Cable Ground Bolt (1) - Remove
- Battery Negative Cable Ground (2) Reposition
Body Wiring Harness Fuse Block Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Body Wiring Harness Fuse Block Bracket (2) - Reposition
Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger Clip (1) - Release
- Engine Control Module Bracket Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
- Engine Control Module Bracket Nut (3) - Remove
- Engine Control Module Bracket (4) - Reposition
Slide the transmission control module and connector (1) from the bracket rear ward to reposition.

Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) - Remove
- Engine Front Splash Shield Retainer (2) - Remove
- Engine Front Splash Shield Bolt (3) - Remove
Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (3) - Remove
- Engine Front Splash Shield Retainer (2) - Remove
- Engine Front Splash Shield Bolt (1) - Remove
Front Compartment Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Remove [6x]
Front Compartment Air Deflector - (1) Remove
Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- NOTE:
Right side shown, left side similar.
Charge Air Cooler Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Charge Air Cooler Bracket (2) - Remove
Front Compartment Front Panel Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
- Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Bolt (2) - Remove [3x]
Front Compartment Front Panel Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
Reposition any wiring harness retainers.
- Slide the front bumper energy absorber (1) out from the front compartment side rail.
Forward range radar sensor will be with the bracket.
