Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Without separating the engine from the transmission, remove the powertrain.
- For LGW engine, refer to Engine Replacement
- For LTA engine, refer to Engine Replacement
- Remove the exhaust front underbody heat shield replacement - left side. Exhaust Front Underbody Heat Shield Replacement - Left Side
Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Disconnect
- Plug the brake pressure modulator valve pipe to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
- Brake Pipe Retainer (2) - Release [2x]
Brake Pipe Retainer (1) - Release [2x]
Brake Pipe Retainer (1) - Release
Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Disconnect
- Cap the brake hose inlet fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
- Brake Pipe - Remove
