Installation Procedure
- Brake Pipe - Install
Remove the cap from the brake hose inlet fitting.
- Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten 19 N.m (14 lb ft)
Brake Pipe Retainer (1) - Secure
Brake Pipe Retainer (1) - Secure [2x]
Brake Pipe Retainer (2) - Secure [2x]
- Remove the plug from the brake pressure modulator valve pipe.
- Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten 19 N.m (14 lb ft)
- Install the powertrain as an assembly.
- For LGW engine, refer to Engine Replacement
- For LTA engine, refer to Engine Replacement
- Install the exhaust front underbody heat shield replacement - left side. Exhaust Front Underbody Heat Shield Replacement - Left Side
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual with LGX) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure with LGX) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure with LTA)
- Check the brake system for leaks.
