Circuit/System Testing
- Ignition/Vehicle - Off
- Disconnect the electrical connector: X1 @ K9 Body Control Module
- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Test for less than 1 V between the test points: Control circuit terminal 6 X1 @ Control module harness & Ground
- If 1 V or greater
- Replace the component: X51A Fuse Block - Instrument Panel
- Go to next step: If less than 1 V
- Momentarily connect a 3 A fused jumper wire between the test points: Control circuit terminal 6 X1 & B+
- Verify a click can be heard or felt at the component when the scan tool control function was commanded: M91 Instrument Panel Compartment Door Unlatch Actuator
- If a click cannot be heard or felt
- Replace the component: X51A Fuse Block - Instrument Panel
- Go to next step: If a click can be heard or felt
- Replace the component: K9 Body Control Module
