Installation Procedure
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Install the bolts (1) securing the radio bracket (2) to the instrument panel tie bar assembly.
- With the aid of an assistant position the instrument panel tie bar assembly into the vehicle.
- Install the instrument panel wiring harness assembly to its in vehicle position as it was noted in the removal procedure.
Install the bolts (1) securing the instrument panel tie bar assembly (2) to the vehicle body and tighten to 22Y (16 lb ft).
Install the bolt (1) securing the instrument panel tie bar assembly to the blower assembly.
- Install the bolt (2) securing the instrument panel tie bar assembly to the HVAC module.
Install the nuts (1) securing the instrument panel tie bar to the heater and air conditioning evaporator and blower module.
- Install the bolts (2) securing the instrument panel tie bar brace to the front floor tunnel panel and tighten to 22Y (16 lb ft).
Install the instrument panel fuse block (1) onto the instrument panel tie bar assembly.
- Install the instrument carrier. Refer to Instrument Carrier Replacement .
