Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify the scan tool Glove Box Unlatch Switch parameter changes from Inactive to Active to Inactive when pressing the appropriate switch on the S48D Multifunction Switch 2 - Instrument Panel.
    • If the parameter does not change 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Instrument Panel Compartment Door Release Switch Inoperative.

    • Go to next step: If the parameter changes 
  3. Verify the M91 Instrument Panel Compartment Door Unlatch Actuator activates when pressing the appropriate switch on the S48D Multifunction Switch 2 - Instrument Panel.
    • If the M91 Instrument Panel Compartment Door Unlatch Actuator does not activate 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Instrument Panel Compartment Door Latch Inoperative.

    • Go to next step: If the M91 Instrument Panel Compartment Door Unlatch Actuator activates 
  4. All OK.
