Circuit/System Description

The Multi-Axis Acceleration sensor sends the amount or rate of acceleration to the Electronic Brake Control Module. To improve vehicle performance and transmission shift feel, the Electronic Brake Control Module is constantly sending the Transmission Control Module serial data messages with information regarding the rate of vehicle acceleration. The Transmission Control Module sets this code when it detects a discrepancy in the structure of the message, causing the signal message integrity to be questioned.
