Front Floor Console Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Remove the front floor console bolt access hole cover. Refer to Front Floor Console Bolt Access Hole Cover Replacement . Remove the front floor console extension panel - right. Refer to Front Floor Console Extension Panel Replacement - Right Side . Remove the shift cable from the transmission control only. Refer to Transmission Control Replacement .
1	Front Floor Console Fastener (Qty: 8) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Pull back the carpet and insulator to access the fasteners from the floor console. Tighten 7 N.m (62 lb in)
2	Front Floor Console Procedure Disconnect electrical connections. With the aid of an assistant lift the floor console rearward and upward away from the instrument panel assembly. Transfer all necessary components.

Front Floor Console Fastener (Qty: 8)

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure
Pull back the carpet and insulator to access the fasteners from the floor console.
Tighten
7 N.m (62 lb in)

Front Floor Console

Procedure

Disconnect electrical connections.
With the aid of an assistant lift the floor console rearward and upward away from the instrument panel assembly.
Transfer all necessary components.
