WARNING:
After installing the transmission range selector shift cable, pull up and push down on ALL connections to verify that the connections are fully seated and properly engaged. Failure to perform this task can result in the vehicle not being able to shift into PARK causing potential vehicle damage and bodily injury. Preliminary Procedures
NOTE:
A second generation range selector lever cable has a retaining bracket, the lower front transmission control retaining bolt will need to be removed first to remove the cable. |
