Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling
  2. Windshield Garnish Molding (1) - Remove - Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement

  3. Instrument Panel Lower Center Trim Panel - Left Side (2) - Remove - Instrument Panel Lower Center Trim Panel Replacement (Right Side)

  4. Instrument Panel Compartment (2) - Remove - Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement

  5. Instrument Panel Airbag Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]

  6. Disconnect the instrument panel airbag electrical connector from the instrument panel harness.
  7. Instrument Panel Upper Bolt (1) - Remove [9x]

  8. Instrument Panel Trim Pad (2) - Remove
  9. Disconnect electrical connections, if applicable.
  10. Transfer components as necessary.
