Removal Procedure

  1. Instrument Panel Lower Center Trim Panel Replacement (Right Side) Instrument Panel Lower Center Trim Panel Replacement (Left Side)  - Left Side - Remove
  2. Front Floor Console Replacement  - Remove
  3. Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement - Remove
  4. Front Floor Console Rear Trim Panel (1) - Remove

  5. Use a flat bladed plastic tool to remove.
  6. Disconnect all electrical connectors.
  7. Front Floor Console Trim Plate Bolt (1) - Remove [5x]

  8. Front Floor Console Armrest Hinge Cover (2) - Remove
  9. Open the compartment and remove the front floor console center compartment liner (1).

  10. Front Floor Console Trim Plate Bolt (2) - Remove [3x]
  11. Front Floor Console Compartment (1) - Remove

  12. Disconnect all electrical connectors.
  13. Front Floor Rear Console Side Trim Panel - Left Side (1) - Remove

  14. Use a flat bladed plastic tool to remove.
  15. Front Floor Console Trim Plate Bolt (1) - Remove [5x]

  16. Disconnect and reposition harness as necessary.
  17. Starting at the rear, disengage the retainers using a flat-bladed plastic tool.
  18. Front Floor Rear Console Side Trim Panel - Right Side (2) - Remove
  19. Automatic Transmission Control Indicator (1) - Remove

  20. Use a flat bladed plastic tool to remove.
  21. Disconnect all electrical connectors.
  22. Front Floor Console Trim Plate Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

    NOTE:

    Ensure that the door to the front floor console cup holder is fully seated in the open position.

  24. Front Floor Console Cup Holder Liner (2) - Remove
  25. Front Floor Console Trim Plate Bolt (3) - Remove [3x]
  26. Front Floor Console Trim Plate Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

    NOTE:

    The cup holder plate door motor assembly is not able to withstand any free falls without any damage to its components during the assembly processes. If the component is miss handled and dropped, the component is deemed nonfunctional and is not guaranteed to function properly. The motor assembly will need to be replaced.

  28. Disconnect all electrical connectors.
  29. Transfer components as necessary.
