Installation Procedure

Connect the park pawl actuator rod (2) to the manual shift shaft position switch (1).
- Install the manual shift shaft position switch assembly (1).
Install the manual shift shaft (2) aligning the position switch assembly onto the shaft.
- Install the NEW manual shift shaft pin (1).
- Install the NEW manual shift shaft detent lever hub pin (3).
- Install the control valve body. Refer to Control Valve Body Replacement (M5N) Control Valve Body Replacement .
- Install the automatic transmission range selector lever. Refer to Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Replacement (M5N) Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Replacement (M5U) .
- Reprogram the transmission. Solenoid Valve Characterization Reprogramming
