1	Automatic Transmission Case Extension Seal Procedure The seal is reusable, inspect the seal and replace if damaged.
2	Automatic Transmission Case Extension CAUTION: Before removing or installing the automatic transmission case extension, place the transmission in a holding fixture with the transmission in a vertical position and the case extension facing up. Failure to do so may result in transmission internal damage. Procedure Ensure the park pawl is not engaged.
3	Automatic Transmission Case Extension Bolt M10 x 40 [6x] CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten in sequence First Pass: 20 N.m (15 lb ft) Final Pass: 55 degrees
