Transmission Case Front Cover and Drive Link Installation

  1. Fig 1: Exploded View Of Transmission Case Front Cover And Drive Link Installation Components With Tightening Sequence

    Automatic Transmission Front Support Cover Gasket (1) - Install NEW

  2. Drive Sprocket Thrust Washer- Rear (2) - Install
  3. Drive Sprocket (3) - Install
  4. Drive Link (4) - Install
  5. Drive Sprocket Thrust Washer- Front (5) - Install
  6. Automatic Transmission Case Front Cover Seal (6) - Install NEW
  7. Ensure the drive link assembly is not pinched by the front cover and moves freely on the drive sprocket.
  8. Automatic Transmission Case Front Cover (7) - Install
    9. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  9. Automatic Transmission Case Front Cover Bolt (8) - Install NEW and tighten in sequence M6 x 30 [11x] to 9.5 N.m (84 lb in)
