Torque Converter Removal and Holding Fixture Installation

   Attach and secure DT-48989  Holding Fixture (2) to the Automatic Transmission Case (4).

2. Support the transmission with an overhead hoist attached to DT-48989  Holding Fixture (2).
3. Install DT-48989  Holding Fixture (2) with the Automatic Transmission Case (4) into the DT-03289-20  Holding Fixture Base Assembly (1)
4. Rotate the transmission so that the converter housing is up and secure with DT-03289-20  Holding Fixture Base Assembly (1) locking pin.
5. Allow any remaining transmission fluid to drain from the case extension.
6. Torque Converter (3) - Remove
