Case Extension Assembly Removal
Automatic Transmission Case Extension Bolt (1) - Remove
- Automatic Transmission Case Extension (2) - Remove
- Automatic Transmission Case Extension Seal (3) - Remove
CAUTION:
Before removing or installing the automatic transmission case extension, place the transmission in a holding fixture with the transmission in a vertical position and the case extension facing up. Failure to do so may result in transmission internal damage.
NOTE:
Ensure the park pawl is not engaged.
NOTE:
The seal is reusable, inspect the seal and replace if damaged.
