| B15 Transmission Internal Mode Switch | The switch has 5 contacts which close in a specific sequence depending on the position of the selector lever. An additional contact generates a P/N signal for the engine control module. |
| K71 Transmission Control Module | The control module K71 uses the information from the sensor signal B15 to determine what transmission gear range the vehicle operator selected. The control module contains a microprocessor used to process input data to control outputs. |
