Circuit/System Description

Circuit Description
B+ circuit Terminal 2 @ X175 Supplied from a fuse.
Control circuit Terminal 8 @ X175 The output circuit is switched to ground to activate the component. This is a normally closed valve that is controlled on/off.
Component Description
B280 Automatic Transmission Accumulator Solenoid Valve A solenoid valve is an electro-mechanically operated valve. The valve is controlled by an electric current through the solenoid.
K71 Transmission Control Module The control module contains a microprocessor used to process input data to control outputs. The control module receives information from a variety of sensors, switches and serial data information from other control modules. This information is used to control a combination of solenoid valves to obtain the correct line pressure, gear ratio and torque converter clutch operation.
