Inspection Procedure Lower Oil Pan

  1. Replace the lower oil pan if removed from the upper oil pan.

    Inspect the oil pan for the following conditions:

    • Gouges or damage to the lower oil pan sealing surfaces (1)
    • Damage to the lower oil pan mounting holes (2)
    • Damage to the drain plug or drain plug hole (3)
