Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the transmission. Transmission Replacement (M5U with LF4) , or Transmission Replacement (M5N with LTG) , or Transmission Replacement (M5N with LGX)

    Remove the converter holding strap (1) DT-21366  Converter Holding Strap from the transmission.

  3. Place a drain pan under the front of the transmission.
  4. Remove the torque converter (2) from the transmission.
