Camshaft Assemble

Callout	Component Name
1	Intake Camshaft - Left Side NOTE: Laser Etched or ID flats- Correct Camshaft Location - Bank 2 (C) Procedure Make sure the camshaft flats with laser etched markings are straight up in relation to the cylinder head and that the crankshaft is in the stage 1 position. The crankshaft key way will be at approximately the 11 o'clock position. Timing Chain Alignment Diagram (LGX) Ensure the flat is facing upward when installed to help when installing timing chains.
2	Exhaust Camshaft - Left Side NOTE: Laser Etched or ID flats- Correct Camshaft Location - Bank 2 (D) Procedure Make sure the camshaft flats with laser etched markings are straight up in relation to the cylinder head and that the crankshaft is in the stage 1 position.
