Inspection Procedure Right Camshaft Carrier

1. Inspect the camshaft carrier for the following conditions:
   • Damage to the camshaft bearing cap bolt holes (1)
   • Damage to the camshaft carrier bolt holes (2)
   • Damage to the top sealing surface (3)
   • Damage to the camshaft bearing cap bolt holes (4)
   • Damage to the engine oil manifold check valve mounting areas (5)
   • Damage to the bottom sealing surface (6)
   • Damage to the camshafts mounting surface areas (7)
   • Damage to the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve holes (8)
2. Repair or replace the camshaft carrier as necessary.
