Removal Procedure
WARNING:
Refer to Brake Dust Warning .
WARNING:
Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Warning .
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS) , or Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS-V)
- Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Non V-Series) , or Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (V-Series) - Remove
Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Disconnect
- Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Brake Hose Retainer (1) - Remove
Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (1) - Remove
- NOTE:
Do not reuse the brake hose fitting gaskets.
Brake Hose Fitting Gasket (1) [2x] @ Rear Brake Hose (2) - Remove and DISCARD
- Rear Brake Hose - Remove
