Installation Procedure

Install the power brake booster vacuum hose and check valve assembly to the vehicle.

Connect the vacuum pipe (1) to the power brake booster vacuum hose.

Install the power brake booster vacuum hose to the vacuum port on the intake manifold and connect the quick connect (1).

Install the power brake booster vacuum hose to the clip (1).

Install the power brake booster vacuum hose quick connect (1) to the power brake booster vacuum pump.

NOTE:
A small amount of denatured alcohol may be used as a lubricant for assembly. Do not use soap.

Install the power brake booster vacuum sensor and hose (1) to the power brake booster.
Connect the power brake booster vacuum sensor electrical connector.
Install the outer fuel pump insulator. Refer to Fuel Pump Insulator Replacement (Outer) .
Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
