Preliminary Procedures
- Remove the tires and wheels on the side the rocker panel will be serviced. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Non V-Series)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (V-Series)
.
- Remove the rear tire front air deflector. Refer to Rear Tire Front Air Deflector Replacement
.
- Open the door on the side the rocker panel will be serviced.

Rocker Panel Molding Procedure
- Begin at the bottom of the rocker molding, release the six vertical lower retainers from the rocker panel.
- Release the two forward vertical retainers from the rocker outer panel.
- Release the seven upper horizontal retainers from the body side.
- Release the seven vertical retainers from the rocker outer panel.
- Replace any broken retainers as necessary.
