Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Remove the windshield wiper transmission. Refer to Windshield Wiper Transmission Replacement .
1	Windshield Wiper Motor Bolt (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
2	Windshield Wiper Motor Procedure Using the J 39232 separator remove the windshield wiper motor crank arm from the transmission link. Remove the windshield wiper motor from the windshield wiper transmission. Position the new windshield wiper motor to the windshield wiper transmission. Align the transmission links to the windshield wiper motor crank arm. Using the J 39529 installer secure the windshield wiper motor crank arm ball to the transmission link ball socket. Tools Required J 39232 Wiper Linkage Separator J 39529 Wiper Linkage Installer For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

Procedure

Using the J 39232 separator remove the windshield wiper motor crank arm from the transmission link.
Remove the windshield wiper motor from the windshield wiper transmission.
Position the new windshield wiper motor to the windshield wiper transmission.
Align the transmission links to the windshield wiper motor crank arm.
Using the J 39529 installer secure the windshield wiper motor crank arm ball to the transmission link ball socket.
