Preliminary Procedures Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement . Remove the rear compartment side trim. Left hand side, refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Left Side . Right hand side, refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Right Side .
1	Tail Lamp Nut (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 4.7 N.m (42 lb in)
2	Rear Body Structure Stop Lamp Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Pull tail lamp straight back and remove from the vehicle. Transfer all necessary components. NOTE: The quarter panel tail lamp upper molding will be removed together with the tail lamp. Mark position of the molding to the trunk weatherstrip for proper installation. Carefully manipulate the molding past the trunk weatherstrip.

Tighten
4.7 N.m (42 lb in)

Rear Body Structure Stop Lamp
Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Pull tail lamp straight back and remove from the vehicle.
