Exhaust Camshaft - Right Side
NOTE:
Laser Etched or ID flats- Correct Camshaft Location - Bank 1 (A)
Procedure
- Make sure the camshaft flats with laser etched markings are straight up in relation to the cylinder head and that the crankshaft is in the stage 2 position. The crankshaft key way will be at approximately the 3 o'clock position. Timing Chain Alignment Diagram (LGX)
- Ensure the flat is facing upward when installed to help when installing timing chains.

Intake Camshaft - Right Side
NOTE:

Procedure
- Make sure the camshaft flats with laser etched markings are straight up in relation to the cylinder head and that the crankshaft is in the stage 2 position. The crankshaft key way will be at approximately the 3 o'clock position. Timing Chain Alignment Diagram (LGX)
- Ensure the flat is facing upward when installed to help when installing timing chains.
