Valve Rocker Arm Cleaning and Inspection (LGX)

Inspect the valve rocker arm roller (1) for the following:
- Flat spots
- Excessive scoring and pitting
- Ensure the roller spins freely
Inspect the valve rocker arm tip area (2).
Inspect the valve rocker arm hydraulic lash adjuster (HLA) pivot area (3).
Inspect the valve rocker arm retaining clip (4).
Inspect the valve rocker switching arm roller (5) for the following:
- Flat spots
- Excessive scoring and pitting
- Ensure the roller spins freely
Inspect the valve rocker switching arm tip area (6).
Inspect the valve rocker switching arm duel feed hydraulic lash adjuster (DFHLA) pivot area (7).
Replace the valve rocker switching arm or followers as necessary.
