Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

    Install the heated oxygen sensor (1) and tighten to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

  2. Front Wheelhouse Front Liner-Right Side - Install - Front Wheelhouse Front Liner Replacement
  3. Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod@Steering Knuckle - Install - Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod Replacement
  4. Lower the vehicle.

    Connect the heated oxygen sensor wiring connector (4) to the electrical connector.

  6. Position the engine wiring harness (3).
  7. Install the engine wiring harness clips (2) to the camshaft cover.
  8. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the ignition coil.
  9. Charge Air Bypass Valve-Right Side - Install - Charge Air Bypass Valve Replacement - Right Side (LF3) 
  10. Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve - Install - Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement (LF3) 
  11. Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator - Install - Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement (LF3) 
  12. Air Cleaner Assembly - Install - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LF3) 
    13. CAUTION:

    Refer to Heated Oxygen Sensor Resistance Learn Reset Caution .

  13. If replacing, perform the HO2S heater resistance learned values reset. HO2S Heater Resistance Learned Values Reset
