Circuit/System Verification

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Engine ON. Let engine run for at least 1 minute.
  2. Ignition OFF for at least 30 seconds to allow for the complete shutdown of the K69 Transfer Case Control Module.
  3. Ignition ON.
  4. Verify that no other transfer case DTC's are set.
    • Go to next step: If no other transfer case DTC's are set 
  5. Verify that DTC C038D is not set.
    • If DTC C038D is set 
      NOTE: Range Actuator Learn procedure may need to be performed twice.
    1. Perform the Range Actuator Learn procedure. Refer to Transfer Case High/Low Clutch Reset .
    2. Verify that the Range Actuator Learn procedure completed successfully.
      • If Range Actuator Learn procedure completed successfully, All OK.
      • If Range Actuator Learn procedure completed unsuccessfully, Test or replace A 16 Transfer Case Motor.
    • Go to next step: If DTC C038D is NOT set 
  6. All OK.
